    Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

    On April 15, 1912, the ship once called unsinkable, fell to the bottom of the ocean floor. Now, 98 years later, THEMUSEUM welcomes visitors to pay tribute to this tragedy at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. More than 150 artifacts recovered from the ocean floor, conserved from the Ship's debris field are showcased offering visitors a historic look at Titanic and its passengers.

    Centre in the Square, 101 Queen St N., Kitchener
    The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery connects people and ideas through art. Open to all, its exhibitions, interactive opportunities and online resources provide a window into the world of contemporary art. Admission and selected programming is free.

Community Centres

  • Indoor Swimming Pools
    Breithaupt Centre, 350 Margaret Ave., 519-741-2502. Breithaupt's 25 yard pool will be closed for renovations from November 16 - Februaury 2011. Breithaupt Centre and Exercise Pool will remain open during this time.

    Cameron Heights Pool, 301 Charles St. E., Located in Cameron Heights High School. Not wheelchair accessible. 519-741-2482.

    Lyle Hallman Pool, 600 Heritage Dr., 519-741-2670.

    Lyle Hallman Pool will be closed for annual maintenance from December 6-17, 2010. The office will remain open during the following hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
